Chilled water tank specifications:

Capacity: from 100L to 30000L, SUS304; Insulation material: polyurethane, insulation layer thickness 80~100mm; Inner liner thickness: 3mm, outer package thickness: 2mm, Oil polished wire drawing board on outer surface, sanding belt at weld.

When will you need the glycol system?

1.Wort production:  
Going through the plate heat exchanger could be one of your glycol loops or a line from a cold liquor tank that is chilled via your glycol chiller.

2. Fermentation:
During this step, yeast will begin to consume sugars and release heat as a result.
Like an anxious driver flooring the gas pedal, this can lead to overheating during the process.
TONSEN glycol system will help put on the brakes, letting you have better control of internal temperatures and fermentation as a whole, and giving you more quality control over your beer.

Glycol and Water Proportion:

To save on costs, you’ll want to make sure that you use a proper mix of glycol and water when setting up your cooling system.

Too much glycol will leave you with a freezing point far below what’s necessary while wasting funds on refrigerant.

Too little, and you risk the entire system freezing, leaving the fermentation process to proceed unchecked!

Generally, depending on the total effective volume of tank, we recommend the propotion of glycol and water is 1:3, which can ensure the lowest temperature going to -20 degree without freezing.

Brewing beer is both rewarding and fun, especially if you enjoy designing systems that work at peak efficiency.

*Tonsen Fermenting system:

according to our standard configuration, the complete beer brewing equipment with 6pcs two batches beer fermentation tanks or with 12 pcs one batch fermentation (based on 12 days fermenting period).
The inside and external of tanks are adopt international standards 304 stainless steel material, mirror polished up to ≤0.8um≤0.6um≤0.2um polishing quality standards, fully meet the PLC automatic cleaning and disinfection of the controlled system requirements. Cone 60° resist compression design, with sample valve, CIP arm, racking arm, pressure gauge, solenoid valve, safety valves and so on.
